H.I.S. Players Schedule ETC.

 Greetings Everyone!

There is a lot of important information listed on this posting! It is time to gear up for the last 3 practices and 3 dress rehearsals!

The dates and times below are directly from the practice/dress rehearsal schedule.

 ALL Students - Cast & Crew are NEEDED to attend ALL of these dates!!!

*Any students who can attend these practices 15 - 30 minutes before the times listed below would be much appreciated!!! 

 *Monday April 2 (1 - 4:30)  

Run all of Act 1

*Monday April 9 (12:30 - 5:00) 

Run all of Act 2 

*Wednesday April 11 (12:30 - 5:00)

 Run Full Show 

 

Monday April 16 (12:30 - 5:00) 

Dress Rehearsal 

Wednesday April 18 (12:30 - 5:00) 

Dress Rehearsal 

Friday April 20 (12:30 - 5:00)

Dress Rehearsal 

Then it's performance week!!!

The Posters are Printed!!! Hooray! 

You will be given posters on MONDAY the 2nd with a list of places you are responsible for bringing them and inquiring about placement on windows, bulletin boards etc.

Items that CAST MEMBERS need to bring. 

 

-1 medium size cloth/canvas bag that can be hung on a clothes hanger. (Student's name must be on the outside of it.)

 

-  A pair of shorts that fit comfortably to wear under their costume for modest (during show) costume changes behind set.

 

- A plain t-shirt also for modest (during show) costume changes behind set. (no tanks or camisoles unless instructed) The t-shirt also absorbs perspiration and body oils to protect the costume. (The neck of the shirt may need to be cut (if not a lower neck) so that it is not seen above the costume neckline.) Place student's name in back of the neck/on the tag with permanent marker. 

 

-You will be finding out soon what socks you need to bring.

 

All of these items mentioned above need to be brought to practice by April 9! 

 

All of these items will be kept with the H.I.S. Players Prayer of the Patriot costumes and laundered by designated moms as needed. 

 

PLEASE start bringing them in this week April 2nd! Especially socks once the list is out!

ALL Acting Students must wear MAKE UP! 

 

This is for the purpose of looking well under bright lights, brightening eyes, coloring cheeks, and reducing shine on foreheads.  Do not apply heavily.  

 

Make up MUST be applied at home prior to each Dress Rehearsal and Performance! Please work with a parent or sibling to purchase products and learn how to apply. 

 

All make up products MUST be kept in a ziploc bag with the student's name on it and kept in the student's backpack to bring to each dress rehearsal and performance! 

 

MAKE UP NEEDED 

 

(Please do not share eye make up with each other as this can spread infections!)

 

~Foundation that matches your skin tone 

~**Eye Liner (crayon is much easier to apply than pencil)          (Do NOT apply below eye - on lid ONLY!)

~**Mascara 

~Blush 

~Chap stick 

**If you have dark hair use black eye liner and black mascara

** If you have light hair and a fair complexion use black/brown eye liner and black/brown mascara

Each of you will need to wear black clothing to each Dress Rehearsal and Performance!

 

The purpose is to unify and professionalize the crew members and to limit visibility during the show if seen in sight lines etc.  

 

Sound Guys - you will be in the audience for many of the performances - wearing black allows for the audience not to be distracted by color etc. as you do your role before them. 

 

Limit personal accessories that include color such as long necklaces, scarves, bright shoes, etc. 

 

Flip - Flops and Sandals are not appropriate footwear for the important jobs that you carry out! Thank you for all you do!
